FAQ:

• Do I have to be a nurse or nurse practitioner to take this class?

  • No. You can take this class at any level, or even as a non-healthcare professional. You will have to be an RN or above to participate in the hands-on IV portion of the class in order to comply with scope of practice laws.

• Do I have to be a nurse or nurse practitioner to START this type of business?

  • No, however, you will need a properly licensed team in place in order to comply with healthcare regulatory laws which may consist of RNs, NPs, and MDs depending on your state.

• Does this class cover the legal process for my state?

  • The class includes a presentation on healthcare law basics but we do not dive into state specific regulations due to having students from different states in each class. It is the responsibility of the student to consult with an attorney to ensure they follow the proper regulatory process in their state of business.

• Does this class provide certification for IVs?

  • You do not need any special IV certifications to start this business. As a registered nurse or above, you are already licensed and certified to start IVs. You will need the right team with credentials to provide your orders and supervision, if necessary, depending on your state of business. You will receive a certificate of completion after participating in the class to demonstrate your understanding on the business side of things!

• Does this class cover the step by step on how to open the business?

  • Yes! This class is designed as an introductory level business class, meaning we will provide you with the resources you will need to get the business started, everything from website designers, suppliers, financial tools, and more!

• I’m interested in this business but not opening any time soon. When is a good time to take the class?

  • It’s never too early to begin gaining knowledge in a field you are interested in! We have many students join us while still being nursing students with plans on opening after becoming licensed, etc. The class is designed to teach you about business and the steps necessary to open, meaning there are things you could be working on even if your opening date is in the future!

• When does registration close?

  • Registration closes 2 weeks before the class date. It is also a possibility for it to close earlier due to seats selling out.

• Do you offer payment plans?

  • Yes. A $750 deposit + payment plan fee ($85) is required to hold your seat for any class. The remaining balance can be split into 2-3 payments depending on the time you registered with a deposit. You will be able to choose the deposit option at checkout. Remaining balance will be collected via invoices sent to your email. You can also make a payment at any time by e-mailing us at contact@fatimafrancesa.com

    Payment plans are not available within 4 weeks of a class date. Payment is required in full if you are registering within 4 weeks of the class date.

    PLEASE NOTE! A processing fee of $85 will be added to your total due to the processing of invoices required for a payment plan.

• I have registered for the class! When do we receive further information on the class?

  • Class details & agenda will be sent 2-3 weeks before the class date.

• Can I receive a refund if I can’t make it?

  • The class is non-refundable after you have registered but you can TRANSFER your registration to a different date if any unforeseen circumstance occurs and you cannot make the date you originally registered for. We will do our best & work with you to make accommodations for you to ensure you receive the information to embark on this exciting journey!
